This course covers your responsibilities under food safety law, food contamination and how to prevent it, dangers and symptoms of food poisoning, personal cleanliness and pest control.
The overall aim of the food safety training course is to ensure that you can work with and around food in the safest way possible, protecting the health of yourself and those around you.

Who Is It Aimed at?
Ideal for employee inductions or for anyone wishing to go on to achieve a level 2 health and safety qualification.
The course can also be used as part of the on-programme element of the new apprenticeship standards, supporting the knowledge, skills and behaviours apprentices need to effectively integrate into the workplace.
Certification
Assessment is on-going by the instructor, culminating with a multiple choice question paper. Upon the completion of this course, you will receive a level 2 food safety training certificate as prove that training has been successful and you have understood the course and its content. This qualification does not expire, but refresher training and keeping up to date with changes to policies and procedures is vital to keep the qualification current.
